The Bangladesh Air Force (Bangladesh Biman Bahini in Bangla), is the air
arm of the Bangladesh Armed Forces. The embryo of Bangladesh Air Force
(BAF) was formed on 28 September 1971 during the war of Liberation with
only three aircraft. During last 43 years Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) has
been developed as one of the advanced and capable air force of the
world. BAF now operates hi tech fourth generation multirole air
superiority fighter, supersonic air defense interceptor, fighter Ground
attack aircraft, long range fixed wing transport aircraft, different
type of utility helicopters and training aircrafts. BAF also has long
range Surface to Air missiles and highly sophisticated Air Defence
radars to safeguard our sky.

- Engineering Branch: Minimum 2nd Class in BSc Engineering from any recognized college/university.
- Education Branch: Minimum 2nd Class Masters with Honours in the respective subjects.
- Legal Branch: LLM/LLB preferably with Hons without any third Class/Division in the entire academic profile.
